Sean Patrick Redwine, 39 of Armuchee, was arrested this week after reports said he was found driving at a high rate of speed while under the influence of alcohol and drugs on GA 1 near Dixie Park Road.
Police said that they observed Redwine failing to maintain his lane, following others closely, failing to give turn signals while driving over 70 mph in a 55 zone.
When police stopped him, they staid that they discovered that he was under the influence of both alcohol and drugs.
Officers added that they found multiple opened containers of alcohol and marijuana inside his vehicle.
Redwine is charged with possession of marijuana, DUI, failure to maintain lane, speeding, open container, improper lane change and following too closely.
