Mr. Howell “Lewis” Morrow, age 79, of Adairsville, GA, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at his residence.
Mr. Morrow was born in Floyd County, GA, on November 23, 1945, son of the late Ozell Morrow and the late Gary Bell Ledbetter Morrow. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Gordon Morrow, and a brother-in-law, John Kidd. Mr. Morrow retired from Shaw Industries where he spent the last 26 years of his working career working in their carpet mill. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and when he was hunting or fishing, he was planning his next outing. Mr. Morrow loved watching tv and especially his Westerns. His greatest passion was for his wife, who was without a doubt the light of his life. Mr. Morrow was of the Baptist faith and is now rejoicing in the presence of Jesus Christ for eternity.
Survivors include his loving wife of over 27 years, Shirley Stiles Morrow, Adairsville; a son, Kim Coalson; 3 grandchildren, Jennifer Burnett, Kelly Adams (Daniel), and Joshua Mize; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 siblings, Glenda Kidd, Vester Morrow (Teresa), and Garry Morrow (Sherry); his best friends, Kyle and Greg Smith, and Anthony and Theresa Dunford; his beloved k-9 companion, Rebel, and his cat Missy; numerous nieces and nephews.
