Charles Eugene Farmer, Sr., 88, of Adairsville Georgia, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025. Born on September 5, 1936, in Rome, Georgia, he was the son of the late Norman E. Farmer and the late Elsie Lou Wright Farmer. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Joann Farmer; son, Charles “Chuck” Farmer, Jr.; three brothers; and one sister.

Charles served in the US Army and worked as a military policeman for three years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and being outside. Charles would often be seen making repairs and projects that required him to be outside because of his love for the outdoors.

Survivors include his daughter, Marie Clark (Kevin); grandchildren, Dakota Rogers, April Farmer, Charles Christopher Farmer, and Marina Clark (fiancé Gavin Hufstetler); and great grandchildren, Kayden Fletcher, Kinslee Fletcher, Lyle Farmer, and Harper Rogers.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home chapel with Keith Willard officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Sutton, Jr. Farmer, Bret Braswell, Gavin Hufstetler, Dakota Rogers, and Corey Clark.
