Mr. William David Ash, age 79 of Rome, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025. He was born on November 9, 1945 in Newnan, Georgia. He was the son of the late Riley Bruce and Marguerite Freeman Ash.
Mr. Ash is survived by his sister, Rita Beck (Mike); daughters; multiple grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several extended family members.
Mr. Ash is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dr. Riley Ash.
In keeping with Mr. Ash’s wishes, he was cremated. A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025 from 2-4 pm at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The family respectfully requests that all floral arrangements be omitted and memorial contributions be made to the P.A.W.S. animal shelter located at, 99 North Ave. North East, Rome, Ga 30161.
