Mr. Sherman William Ingram, Sr., age 72, of Cedar Bluff, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at his residence.

Mr. Ingram was born in Floyd County, Georgia on January 1, 1953, son of the late Harry C. ingram, Sr. and the late Mozelle Davenport Ingram. He was also preceded in death by a son, Sherman William “Billy” Ingram, Jr., and by two siblings, Faye Newberry and Harry C. Ingram, Jr. Prior to retirement, Mr. Ingram worked as a body technician for Auto Collision. He loved to hunt and fish.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Wilkins Ingram, to whom he was married on October 28, 1972, a son, Damian Ingram; a daughter, Corinthia Maynor (Tommy)’ three grandchildren, Cailin Osborne (Ethan), Cade Maynor, and Mia Maynor; a brother, Lonnie Ingram; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 3pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Rev. Robert Vines officiating. Interment will follow in Floyd Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Friday from 1pm until 2:45pm.

Pallbearers are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Friday at 2:30pm and include Active: David Lane, Craig Jones, Chris Little, Joseph Newberry, Jeremy Newberry, and Ethan Osborne. Honorary: Robbie Dunn.
