One Community United is sponsoring a political forum for candidates in the Floyd County Commission special election scheduled for March 18.
Early voting will be held at the Floyd County Elections office at 18 East 12th Street, Rome, GA 30161 during normal business hours. The dates of early voting will be February 24 through March 14, 2025. In addition, early voting will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, and March 8, 2025, at the same location between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; as well as Sunday, March 9, 2025 at the same location between the hours of 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The event will be held at 305 Broad Street in Downtown Rome on Tuesday, February 18th at 6 pm.
Candidates invited includes; Chip Hood, Shonna Bailey, Tonya Shepard, David Thornton and Corey Townsend.
The debate will be moderated by Doug Walker from the City of Rome.
