Rory Lushon Chatman Sr, 45 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he refused to cooperate with police during an investigation.
Reports said that Chatman refused to place his hands in the air and lay on the ground when lawfully ordered to do so.
The incident occurred on Highland Street.
Chatman is charged with three counts obstruction, failure to appear, contempt of court and probation violation.
This occurred hours after a search warrant was issued at his brother’s home in which police found him to be trafficking meth and with a gun.
