Mr. Delmas Dewitt Harrell, age 60, of Aragon, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at his residence.
Mr. Harrell was born in Rome, Georgia on February 7, 1964, son of the late Dewitt Harrell and the late Mary Pierce Harrell. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Dewayne Harrell. Mr. Harrell worked for Mondo Bakery/Kellogg where he was a supervisor and did many other jobs. He was a member of Crosspoint Community Church in Aragon. He loved fishing, Gold Rush and Moonshiners on TV, and Alabama Crimson Tide Football.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Louise Deems Harrell; three children, Tina Harris (Jamey), Gary Harrell, and Tyler Harrell (Mitzi); three grandchildren, Amber Harris, Addie Harrell, and Emma Harrell; three sisters, Linda Culberson (Robert), Janet Overby (Eddie), and Anita Reece (Chuck); a special niece, Sabrina Hicks; a special nephew, Houston Elders; other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2024, at 2pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Bro. Tim Deems and Bro. Mason Goss officiating and Mr. Andy Edwards delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in Aragon Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Monday from 5 until 7pm.
Pallbearers are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Tuesday at 1:30pm and include Active: Jamey Harris, Cody Knowles, Andy Edwards Corey Harrell, Houston Elders, and Greg Overby. Honorary: Robert Culberson, Eddie Overby, and Brian Hicks.
