Floyd County Commissioners voted this week to approve a request to approve for the awarding a bid to Innovative Fitness for the purchase and installation of Ecore flooring for the Glenwood FCPD Gym Floor in the amount of $13,295.
Commissioners said that no change in the budget is required.
This vendor is using the Omnia Partnership Contract Pricing for Ecore Athletic Performance Flooring.
Commissioners also approved a contract with Advanced Sports Group for the purpose of replacing the AdventHealth Baseball Field with Synthetic Grass covering.
This requires an increase to the 2017 SPLOST budget of $662,695.00.
Commissioners also approved a request to approve the purchase and installation of a commercial Unimac Washer & Dryer to Southeastern Laundry Equipment Sales for P.A.W.S. in the amount of $29,855.00 using 2023 SPLOST funds.
Commissioners said that although this was not the lowest bid submitted, this vendor supplied a responsive and responsible bid with the quickest delivery.
