A convicted sex offender, Jason Jermaine Staples Jr, 23 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he failed to notify authorities that he was fired from Burger King.
Police said that he was fired from the West Rome location back in June and never let the sheriff’s office know.
Staples is charged with sex offender registration and failure to appear.
