Demarco Anthony Farmer, 26 of Rome, is facing numerous charges after reports said he was found with marijuana while being an inmate at the Floyd County Jail.
Reports said that Farmer was arrested on East 14th Street after officers found him with marijuana, and a digital scale.
After arriving at the jail, Farmer was found with additional marijuana that he did not turn over to arresting officers.
Farmer is charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug related objects, possession of drugs by an inmate, and two counts probation violation.
