Mrs. Linnie Knight Robinson, age 88, of Rome, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024, at her residence.
Mrs. Robinson was born in Cedartown, Georgia on June 15, 1936, daughter of the late Fred Napoleon Knight and the late Loma Lester Knight. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Edward “Edro” Robinson, on February 15, 2024, and by three siblings, Jeanette Garmon, James Knight, and Larry Knight. Mrs. Robinson retired from Mohawk Industries and also formerly owned Home & Industrial Grading Company. She was a member of New Antioch Baptist Church. She loved gardening, ancestry, and her beloved pets.
Survivors include three children, Tonya Johnson (T.J.), Krista Reed (Kevin), and Randy Holbert (Karren); a stepson, Dale Robinson (Stacey); five grandchildren, Asa Holbert, Kendall Reed Henderson, Ashley Gresham, Brooke Laney, and Jessica Knight Lockwood; three great grandchildren, Ayden Maddox, Ansley Laney, and Emersyn Laney.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 1pm at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, with the Rev. Tony Cargle officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Monday from 11am until 12:45pm.
Pallbearers are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Monday at 12:30pm and include Asa Holbert, Ayden Maddox, Randy Freeman, Cricket Knight, and William Lemus.
