Benjamin Matthew Davis, age 46, of Gaylesville, Alabama, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024, from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Matt was born in Rome, Georgia on November 6, 1978, son of Rita Rittenhouse McAlister. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Thomas McAlister. Matt worked as a machine operator for Playcore. He was a talented artist.
Survivors include his mother, Rita McAlister; a son, Gage Davis (Heaven); three granddaughters, Naveah, Serenity, and Maddie Davis; a brother, Chris Davis; a niece, Sydney Russell; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 3pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel. Family members will deliver eulogies.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Saturday from 2pm until the service time.
