The Rotary Club of Polk County will host the fourth annual Silver Comet Fest this Saturday in downtown Rockmart.
The annual event, which will run from 10 am until 4 pm will not only feature arts and craft vendors, but live entertainment and an appearance from Santa Claus.
A rubber duck race will also be held in the Euharlee Creek with prizes awarded for those winning. Tickets can be purchased at the festival from the Rotary Club.
Tours of the historic Rockmart Slate Quarry will be available during the festival. Signups will be near the Rockmart Methodist Church on Church Street.
