Thanksgiving week Journey Community Food Pantry will be closed on Wednesday 11/27/24 but will distribute food on Mondays 11/25/24 10-12 and 1-5.
Christmas Week JCFP will be closed 12/25/24 on Wednesday 12/25/24 but will distribute food on Monday 12/23/24 10-12 and 1-5.
New Year’s Week JCFP will be closed on Wednesday 1/1/25 but will distribute food on Monday 12/30/24 10-12 and 1-5.
CRITERIA FOR RECEIVING FOOD AT JOURNEY HAS REMAINED THE SAME FOR THE PAST 24 MONTHS.
* JCFP serves clients in Floyd County, Chattooga County and Cherokee County Alabama.
* You MUST have a current Georgia or Alabama photo ID (License or State ID) and a piece of mail (with the same address) verifying your residency EVERY time you come to get food.
*The ONLY mail accepted will be a recent utility bill, a piece of government mail (IRS, GDOR, SSI, DFAC’s, Court, or a medical bill in client’s name or a copy of their current lease agreement. We can accept the proof of residency in paper form or online (pulled up on your phone). However, it must be current and dated. All mail presented must be dated within the previous 60 days.
