Mrs. Trinie Ann Case, age 89, of Brevard, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at her residence.
Mrs. Case was born in Atlanta, GA, on July 25, 1935, daughter of the late Herman Leon Johnson and the late Bessie Mae Pourron Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Odell “Bob” Case, Sr., her brothers, Ronnie Johnson and Leon Johnson, as well as her sister, Mary Marsh. Mrs. Case retired from Belk where she spent the last 10 years of her working career as a security representative. She was a member of Garden Lakes Baptist Church and was very active in the church and her community, having served as a crossing guard and was formerly a member of the “Red Hat Society.”
Mrs. Case was a consummate caregiver and felt that was God’s calling on her life. She showed her love through food and would feed anyone that walked through her door. Mrs. Case also ran the kitchen at church for Wednesday night suppers for many years. She loved watching the birds and squirrels play in their natural habitat. Mrs. Case was an avid card player and considered solitaire among her favorites. She was a firm believer in Jesus Christ and is now rejoicing in the presence of her Savior for eternity.
Survivors include her son, Rob Case (Megan), Sapphire, NC; 2 grandchildren, Avett and Cody Case; 3 siblings, Clifford Johnson (Carolyn), Thelma Davenport, and Shirley Granger; numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11am on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Georgia National Cemetery where she will be interred with her husband. Dr. Jimmy Gentry will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends from 4pm until 6pm on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel.
