Mrs. Crystal Marie Coffia, age 49, of Rome, GA, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024.
Crystal was born in Rome, GA, on February 21, 1975, daughter of the late Betty Jean Locklear. She attended the Pepperell school system and received her GED from Coosa Valley Technical College. Crystal was married on September 26, 1998, to Terry Coffia and was blessed with a son, Austin Coffia, on June 1, 2003. She became a homemaker after working at Marglen Industries and Suzuki Mfg.
Crystal loved spending time with her family. A few of her passions were reading, gardening and fishing. Her “Happy Place” was her spot on Lake Weiss. Crystal enjoyed seeing the world through her TV and always wanted to visit places such as Scotland and Ireland. Her joy and happiness were expressed clearly through the smile that was always on her face.
Crystal leaves behind her beloved husband, Terry Coffia; son, Austin Coffia; sisters, Misty Weeks (Sam), Cave Spring, GA, and Teresa Lowery, Rome, GA, whom she adored with all her heart; her mother-in-law, Sue Cook; brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Sherri Sullins; 3 nieces and 2 nephews; 5 great nieces and nephews; 2 uncles and 2 aunts; many, many cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 2:00pm at His Church, 25 Adams Circle, Silver Creek, GA 30173, with Pastor Joey Motes officiating.
