Mr. Timothy Howard Miller, age 78, of Armuchee, GA passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024.
Tim was born in Rome, GA, on April 2, 1946, son of the late Sidney Leon Miller and the late Bethy Lee Everett Miller. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Travis Miller, Gail Miller, Hudon Miller, and Frank Miller, and a sister, Linda Barnett. Tim graduated from Armuchee High School class of 1964, and he attended North Georgia College. He was part owner of S.L. Miller and Sons Lumber Company and was a cattle rancher, which was his passion. His happy place on Earth was on his John Deere tractor in the fields and working his cattle. Tim was a faithful member, deacon, Sunday School teacher, and choir member of Everett Springs Baptist Church. Tim served in the Army Reserve. Tim was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be missed by all.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Ann Ray Miller; sons, John Miller (Susan), Jason Miller (Melanie); sister, Beverly Burke; grandchild, Erica Mejia (Alex); great grandchildren, Sophia Ray, Emma Mejia, and Estella Mejia; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Everett Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Drake and Harold Blackstock officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm prior to the funeral services. Interment will follow at Everett Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Henderson and Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Active and honorary pallbearers are Mark Miller, Shane Rogers, Josh Smith, Dustin Smith, Joel Padgett, Jordan Padgett, Mike Miller, K.M. Miller, Hoyt Brown, Ted Barnett, and Gene Williams. Pallbearers are asked to assemble at Everett Springs Baptist Church Monday at 12:00 pm.
