The Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) will host a Career Fair on Wednesday, September 18, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., in Floyd County at the Bob Richards Regional Youth Detention Center. DJJ is looking to hire Juvenile Correctional Officers, Housekeepers, and Food Service Workers with on-the-spot contingent officers. Individuals interested in applying should bring their social security card, valid driver’s license, and proof of a high school diploma or GED. The Juvenile Correctional Officer position offers a competitive starting salary, with the potential for an additional 10 percent increase based on the number of active military duty years served.
