Bo Brook Smith gained his wings on Friday, August 16, 2024. Though taken too soon, he passed peacefully in the arms of his parents. He now rests gently in the hands of Jesus.
Bo was born on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, to Tyler and Anna Smith, joining his brother, Slate Smith. Despite his short time on earth, he touched the lives and hearts of so many. Bo was deeply loved, and he will be forever missed.
Bo was greeted in Heaven by his great-great grandparents, Alene Nixon, B.M. Smith, and Bobby and Betty Lindsey.
He is survived by parents, Tyler and Anna Smith; brother, Slate Smith; grandparents, Pat and Alice Nixon, Gary and Connie Smith, Don and Donna Burgess; great-grandparents, Donny Nixon, Cynthia Henderson, Margie Smith, Donnie and Oggie Kendrick; aunts and uncles, Corbin and Christina Arnold, Ethan Nixon and Morgan Rogers, Brandon and Nikki Vuckovich, Ashton and Keely DeBoard, Kylee Smith; and cousins, Wyatt Arnold, Wade Arnold, Abel Vuckovich, Lettie Vuckovich, Ezra DeBoard, and Teagan DeBoard.
Tyler and Anna would like to personally thank the entire NICU team at Atrium Health Floyd for all their love, compassion and support during Bo’s time on earth and after. We will be forever grateful.

Bo’s family will be hosting a visitation on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 p.m. at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, with a graveside service to follow at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Barry Henderson.
