Trinity La’Ski Ja’Cole “Trin Trin” Hudgins, age 8, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Egleston Children’s Hospital in Atlanta.
Trinity was born in Rome, Georgia on November 3, 2015, daughter of Christopher Hudgins and Samantha Atkins. She was a student at Anna K. Davie Elementary School. Trinity was strong and was very courageous, any time she walked into a room she would light it up. She was like a magnet, drawing you in, and you couldn’t help but love her. She loved singing, rapping, dancing and entertaining. Her dream was to be a rapper and a police officer. She was preceded in death by a grandmother, Shonna Denise “Ne Ne” Harris.
Survivors include her parents; siblings, Nicholai Atkins, Jayden Ely, Kye Atkins, Unique Atkins, Nevaeh Atkins, Kamari Hudgins, and Mykilla Hudgins; grandparents, Jennifer “Granny” Penny, Christy Hudgins, Robert “Andy” Atkins, Marshall Dozier, and LaShonda “Nana” Hicks; special grandparents, “Mi Mi” and “Paw Paw” Nasworthy; great grandmother, Pearl “Granny” Hudgins; aunts, Jessica Bond, Amanda (Joey) Turner, Tina Hudgins, Sheila Kennebrew, Tammy Hudgins, Ryan “Ti Ti” Stumpp, Hannah Franks, Monica Watkins, Aunt Dee Dee, and Karen Plant; special aunt, Michelle “Pookie” Barnes; uncles, Christopher “Hulk” “Bubba” Atkins, Harley Hicks, T.J. Hudgins, and Kevan Dozier; special cousin, James Turner; several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 6pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Pastor Christopher Wells officiating.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Saturday from 4-6pm.
