Tyrone Holloway, 54 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he shoved a 41 year-old woman to the ground during an altercation at their home on West 8th Street.
Reports added that the physical altercation came after Holloway used curse words toward her.
The victim suffered visible injuries to her shoulder from the altercation.
Holloway is charged with battery and probation violation.
