Armuchee Woman Jailed for Setting Man’s Lindale Home on Fire

Linda Ann Barnes, 41 of Armuchee, was arrested this week after reports said she purposely set a fire to a home on East 2^nd Avenue in Lindale.

Reports added that Barnes had previously threatened to burn the home down before going and getting kerosene to light the home on fire.

Barnes was then found cursing in the roadway while the home burned.

Barnes is charged with first degree arson, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, terroristic threats/acts, disorderly conduct and 2^nd degree criminal damage to property.
