William Andrew “Butch” Mull, age 37, of Rome, passed away surrounded by his family and loved ones on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at a local hospital following a lengthy illness.

                Butch was born in Rome, Georgia on August 19, 1986, son of Stevie Lamar Mull and Darlene Cromer Mull.  He was a graduate of Pepperell High School and Coosa Valley Technical College where he received a certificate as an Auto Body Technician.  He was of the Christian faith.  Butch enjoyed shopwork, woodworking, cars, drawing, college softball, working on his 2004 Jeep Wrangler, the Atlanta Braves, Georgia Tech, growing flowers (especially sunflowers), and all animals (especially his cats Kit-Kat & Boo).  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William A. “Billy & Mary Cromer and Billy H. “Bill” & Marie Mull.

                Survivors include his parents, Stevie & Darlene Mull; a brother, Adam Lamar Mull; aunts, Shirley “T” Cromer and Kathy Pevy (Bob); an uncle, Ricky Mull (Carol); cousins, Jason Mull (Dana) and their children, Riley, Reed & Ramsey, and Greg Mull (Sandy) and their children, Rylan, Elizabeth & Evan; a special cousin, Kim Hollingsworth; special neighbors, Gene & Marcele Evans and Judy Vasser.

                Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 11am in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with the Rev. Prissy Tunnell and the Rev. Chris Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Floyd Memory Gardens.

                The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Wednesday from 5 until 7pm.  They also may be contacted at the residence of Ricky & Carol Mull in Armuchee on Tuesday from 4 until 7pm.

                Pallbearers are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Thursday at 10:30am and include Ricky Mull, Jason Mull, Greg Mull, Johnny Mull, Tommy Mull, and Waymond Mull.

                The family would like to express their appreciation to the doctors and nurses of Polk Medical, Floyd and Floyd Palliative Care for all their care during Butch’s illness.
