Thomas Nathan Carter, age 31, of Rome, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Nathan was born in Rome, Georgia on November 30, 1992, son of Jimmy Eugene Carter and the late Sarah Morris Valdez. He worked for KTH in Leesburg, Alabama. Nathan enjoyed taking rides on his motorcycle. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Krista Valdez.
Survivors include his father, Jimmy Carter (Vickie); brothers, Chad Carter (Tonya), and Christopher Robert Suits; sisters, Julie Valdez, Paula Valdez, Heather Renee Kerns, and Brandelyn Misty Martin; two nieces, Amber McCallie (Jacob) and Kacie Carter.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 3pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel. Interment will follow in Rome Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Thursday from 1 until 2:45pm.
Pallbearers are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Thursday at 2:30pm and include Dustin Davis, Jamie Dotson, James Holder, Greg Carter, Matt Kelly, and Andrew Dennis.
