Celestine Cole, 17 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she allowed the battery in the ankle monitor to become depleted.
Authorities added that they reached out to contact Cole numerous times before taking a warrant for her arrest.
Cole is charged with unlawful removal of electronic monitoring device.
