Bobby Joe Barber, 62 of Rome, was arrested in downtown Rome after police said they found him in a drunken state while using vulgar and unbecoming language in public.
Barber is also accused of threatening to run a police officer over with a car.
Barber is charged with public drunk and terroristic threats and acts.
