Mrs. Tracy Lynn Kight, age 50, of Rome, GA, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024.

Tracy was born in Floyd County, GA, on May 22, 1974, daughter of Joe Earl Norton and Sherry Lynn Coker Norton. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dewey & Grace Norton and Boyd & Judy Coker; father-in-law, Cecil Kight; brothers-in-law, Greg Trapp and, Larry Wright; sister-in-law, Ivis Samples; and aunt, Eva Nelle Woods.                                                                                                         

Tracy attended Wesley Chapel Church and was a graduate of Trion High School and Kennesaw University with a master’s in mathematics. Tracy worked for Georgia Highlands College an Associate Professor in mathematics. Tracy was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and friend, and she will be missed by all. Tracy’s greatest treasure was her faith in God, her husband, Andy, and her sons, Steven & Joey. She grew up in Dry Valley in Summerville. In 1997, she moved to Rome where she and Andy raised their family in Armuchee, Tracy had a deep & devoted compassion for all those in her family & community.

Tracy is survived by her parents, Joe & Sherry Norton; her husband of 26 years, Andy Kight; her sons; Steven Gregory Kight, Joseph Andy Kight; sisters, Brandy McCool and Robin Wright; brother, Chris Norton; mother-in-law, Georgie Kight and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024, at 2:00pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, with Pastor Randy Giles officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 3, 2024, from 12:00pm until 1:45pm at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel.

Honorary pallbearers are asked to be at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel on Monday, June 3, 2024, by 1:30pm and include Randy Stallings, Randall Stallings, Ronnie Sharp, Joy Sharp, Adam Sharp, Ashley Smith, Steve Bennett, and Sammy Rich.
