Mrs. Janett Maria Wells, age 73, of Trion

Mrs. Janett Maria Wells, age 73, of Trion, GA, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at a healthcare facility in Rome, GA.

                Mrs. Wells was born in Caracas, Venezuela, on March 16, 1951, daughter of the late Dr. Carlos Heinemann and the late Janett Zambrano Heinemann. She was also preceded in death by her husband Jimmie Grant Wells. Mrs. Wells loved gardening and had a special affinity for flowers. Roses were her favorite flower, especially peach and yellow, and she loved her crepe myrtles. Mrs. Wells was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rome

                Survivors include her 3 children, Jeannettelena Santillan (Fermin), Rome, Antoinette Maria Wells (Aaron Knight), Summerville, and Jimmie Grant Wells, II, (Jennifer), Rome; a grandson, Elijah Grant Wells; numerous siblings, nieces and nephews.

                A funeral mass will be held at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Paul Porter presiding assisted by Deacon Stuart Neslin.  Interment will take place next to her husband in Georgia National Cemetery at 11am on Thursday, June 13, 2024.
