Mrs. Addie Lou Yarbrough Williams, age 85, of Rome, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at her residence.

                Mrs. Williams was born in Bartow County, Georgia on June 14, 1938, daughter of the late Clark Fields Yarbrough and the late Dellie Arlene Bearden Yarbrough.  She was also preceded in death by three brothers, James Yarbrough (Frances), Frank Yarbrough (Dot), and Hugh Yarbrough, and by two sisters, Mattie Elliott (Eddie) and Ruby Middleton (Turner).  Mrs. Williams was baptized at Shorter Avenue Baptist Church and had visited Roswell Street Baptist Church.  Prior to retirement, she worked as a real estate assistant.  Mrs. Williams enjoyed traveling, housework, and yardwork.

                Survivors include her husband, Carl Weyman Williams; a sister-in-law, Peggy Yarbrough; several nieces and nephews; special caregivers, Brook & Kevin Ross and Farrah Cohely.

                Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 11am in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel, with the Rev. Charlie Carney officiating.  Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.

                The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel, on Saturday from 10am until the service time.

                Honorary pallbearers are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel, on Saturday at 10:30am and include Steve Middleton, Doug Elliott, David Elliott, Phil Yarbrough, Joel Yarbrough, Greg Yarbrough, Tim Yarbrough, and Mark Yarbrough.
