Phillip Keith McCollum, 48 of Centre, was arrested in Rome after reports said he stole four vehicles from a home on Cunningham Road.
Police said that McCollum stole a 1979 Subaru, 1973 Chevrolet Impala, 1980 Buick Regal and a 1970 Ford Galaxy.
He is then accused of taking the vehicles to the scrap yard and selling them for $1,501.
McCollum is charged with felony theft by taking.
