A 17 year-old Cedartown teen, Tyrell Spencer, has been arrested this week after being shot in Rome during a drive-by shooting outside a home on Calhoun Avenue.

Spencer was shot in the left forearm and right hand allegedly by someone driving a white SUV.  Police said that seven shots were fired toward the home.

Authorities went on to say that while being questioned, he gave a fake name to police. However, it was soon discovered that he had lied about his name because he was wanted for a robbery in Jefferson County, Alabama.

Spencer is charged with being a fugitive from justice and obstruction.
