Tyler Corbin Payne, 33, of Calhoun, Georgia departed this life on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at AdventHealth-Gordon from complications with his heart.
Tyler was born in Calhoun, Georgia, on October 10, 1990, the son of Reba Joyce Scoggins Payne and the late R.G. Payne Jr. He graduated from Gordon Central High School in 2009 and was employed by Home Depot Corporation as a tool rental associate prior to failing health. He enjoyed helping those in need and making a difference in their lives, and he also enjoyed working and playing video games.
Survivors include his mother, Reba Joyce Payne of Calhoun; two sisters, April Star Clark and her husband Gregory and Jennifer Kindle and her husband Cody; nephews Cody Pierce and Aiden Kindle; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The funeral will be held Saturday, April 20th at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Whitton officiating. Burial will follow in the family lot at Harmony Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Gregory Clark, Cody Kindle, Tracy Sims, Travis Smith, Brian Bost, Dale Hughes, Zack Bagley, Larry Rogers, Charlie Lumpkin, Paul Parker, and John Moreland.
The family will receive friends Friday evening between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, food donations be given in Tyler’s memory to the Voluntary Action Center to continue his legacy of helping others. A donation box will be at the funeral home or the V.A.C.
