Wendy LaShae Graham, 32 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after police said she failed to send her 9 year-old to school for dozens of days.
Reports said that her child was absent for 31 unexcused days the first semester of the school year. After a truancy statement was issued to Graham she has continued to allow her child to miss numerous days of school.
Graham is charged with the mandatory education of children.
