Emanuel Steffon Smith, 36 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he assaulted four victims at Atrium Health Floyd.
Reports stated that all four victims were placed in fear of receiving violent injuries.
Officers added that Smith refused to comply with commands when they attempted to de-escalate the incident.
Smith is charged with four counts simple assault, battery, obstruction and probation violation.
