Mark Paul Dawson Sr, 30 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he molested a small child and then told her that she would kill her if she told anyone.
Reports listed the location of the offense at a home on Doyle Road.
Dawson is charged with child molestation, sexual battery against a child, cruelty to children, terroristic threats and acts and failure to appear.
