Magan Nicole Knight, 34 of Cedartown, was arrested this week after reports said she was found with methamphetamine during a traffic stop on Shorter Avenue in Rome.
Police said that the meth was located in the cup holder of the vehicle, in which Knight was a passenger in.
Both Knight and the driver claimed the drugs as their own.
During the stop, Knight did leave the traffic stop while another passenger was being pursued in food.
Knight is charged with possession of meth and being a fugitive from justice.
