Adam Blake Litton, 38 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he placed his hands around the neck of a female victim resulting in her being afraid that she was going to die.
Litton is then accused of punching the female victim on the top of her head, leaving a substantial red bump during the altercation.
Litton is charged with aggravated assault, battery and probation violation.
