Mrs. Patricia Ann Henderson, age 61, of Lindale, GA, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024, in a local hospital.

                Mrs. Henderson was born in Floyd County, GA, on February 1, 1962, daughter of the late Ralph Burk and the late Glenda Carol Moon Burk.  She was also preceded in death by a son, Eric O’Neal, and by 2 brothers, Jeffrey Burk and Steve Ashley.  Mrs. Henderson was a graduate of Coosa High School.  She worked for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution for many years as the night route supervisor. Mrs. Henderson loved her family above all else and was devoted to her grandchildren.  She enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Floyd Bowling & Amusement Center’s bowling league. Mrs. Henderson was of the Christian faith and is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

                Survivors include her husband, David Michael Henderson, Jr., Lindale, to whom she was married on December 10, 2005; 3 children, Teddy O’Neal, David Henderson III, and Courtney Henderson; a daughter-in-law, Amber Gentry; 4 grandchildren, Kilee Gentry, Keegan Gentry, Kohen Gentry, and Dusty Elrod; her brother, Gary Burk (Angie); aunts and uncles, Ray and Joyce Burk, and Christine and Butch Hullisteller; a special niece, Jade Wells Payne; many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

                Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, February 1, 2024, in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel.  Interment will follow in Lindale Cemetery.

                The family will receive friends from 11am until service time on Thursday at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel.

                Pallbearers are to assemble by 12:30pm on Thursday at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, and include: active, David Henderson III, Kyle Ashley, Stoner Ashley, Cole Burk, Colton Burk, and Kellen Burk; honorary, Keegan Gentry and Dusty Elrod.
