Mr. Tommie Phillip Mull, Jr., age 77, of Silver Creek, GA, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family.

                Phillip was born in Rome, GA, on January 1, 1947, son of the late Tommie Phillip Mull, Sr., and the late Ruby Lucille Bishop Mull.  He was also preceded in death by 5 siblings, Katherine Roberson, Bill Mull, Bobby Mull, Guy Mull, and Allen Mull.  Phillip was a cattleman and rancher his entire life.  He worked for Valley Farm, Tri-County Gin, and then at Gold Kist for many years before retiring.  After retirement he still maintained his own farm.  Phillip loved everything about farm life. From riding tractors, restoring tractors, checking on the cows, spreading fertilizer, hauling hay and barking orders supervising, he loved it all.  Phillip’s happy place was his shade tree where many of the world’s problems were solved and many naps were taken.

                Survivors include his 3 children, Jenifer Farmer (Jason), Tommy Mull (Michelle), and John Mull (Nona); the mother of his children, Brenda Gravitte; 3 sisters, Faye Hutchins, Mary Ann Bowman, and Peggy White; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

                In accordance with his wishes, Phillip will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at 4pm on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel. The Rev. Gary Diggs will officiate and Mr. Gene Free will deliver the eulogy.

                The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2pm until service time at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel.
