Coosa High School (CHS) Skylar Huskins has been named the head volleyball coach. 

“I am honored and consider myself extremely blessed to have been given the opportunity to lead the volleyball program at Coosa High School,” said Coach Huskins. “I can’t wait to help the program continue to grow. As the head coach, I will strive to push athletes to be their best, both in the classroom and on the court, and to always believe in themselves.” 

A native of Calhoun, Georgia, Huskins graduated from Sonoraville High School and played eight years of competitive volleyball, appearing in multiple state playoffs while at SHS. 

Upon graduating high school, Coach Huskins attended the University of Georgia where she obtained a Bachelors in Education degree and is currently working on her Masters in Education degree. 

Skylar first came to Coosa this school year where she teaches eighth grade math.
