Daymion Damier Watkins, 21 of Rome, was arrested this week at the LaQuinta Inn on Chateau Drive after reports said he used a stolen bank card to rent out a room.
Authorities added that they were dispatched to the hotel after employees were notified that a stolen card had been used to rent out the room. Police went on to say that while taking Watkins into custody they found the stolen wallet and their belongings in his possession.
A stolen firearm and Oxycodone were also located inside the room.
Watkins is also accused of taking cash from the cash register at the location while the clerk was away
Watkins is charged with theft by taking, felony theft by receiving stolen property, misd theft by receiving stolen property, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, financial transaction card theft and theft of mislaid property.
