Derrick Emmanuel Winston Jr, 28 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he was found in possession of drugs while driving in violation to his license permit.
Police said that Winston was found driving along Broad Street when he was pulled over by officers. While being taken into custody, Winston was found in possession of non-prescribed pills that were not in their original container.
Winston is charged with possession of a schedule V controlled substance, drugs in original container and violation of a driving permit.
