Mr.  Bennett was always there to give you a hand up and was known as a generous man to those in need.  As an avid outdoorsman, if he wasn’t spending time with his family, you could find him on the lake or in the woods. Frequently hosting fish fry’s from his catch for all his friends at the lock and dam. One of his passions and joys in life was cooking his secret fried fish recipe to raise money for the youth and children’s group at Pleasant Hope Baptist Church.
