Jeffrey Scott Carroll Jr, 31 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he repeatedly punched the mother of his child while driving a vehicle.
Reports said that Caroll attacked her while driving along Shoreline and Elliot Drives in the Garden Lakes community.
Carroll is charged with battery.
