The Rome-Floyd County Library is excited to offer Food for Fines! From November 1st through November 30th, library users will receive $2 off late fees (up to $10) for every nonperishable food item that is donated to local libraries. All food will be donated to local food pantries. Exclusions apply to this program, please call or visit the library to ask for specific details.
Other fun programs that will be offered in November at the Rome-Floyd County Library include weekly storytime programs each Tuesday at 10am and 11am, excluding November 21st. An Adult Teacup Garden Craft will be held on Wednesday, November 1st at 4:30pm and Kid Craft Time will be offered on Thursday, November 2nd and 16th at 5pm. Teen’s are invited to a Diamond Painted Coasters Craft on Thursday, November 9th at 5pm. Special Guests for November include the Farm Bureau who will be visiting on Wednesday, November 8th at 10am and AdventHealth visiting on Thursday, November 16th at 11am.
The Rome-Floyd County Library will be closing at 6pm on Wednesday, November 22 and closed on Thursday and Friday, November 23rd and 24th for the Thanksgiving Holiday. The library will also be closing at 5pm on Tuesday, November 28th for the Rome Christmas Parade.
