Ms. Kaylee Marie Curry, age 19, of Rome, GA, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023, at a healthcare facility in Chattanooga, TN.
Kaylee was born on April 21, 2004, in Rome, GA, daughter of Mrs. Crystal Gail Moon Curry and Mr. Wesley Alan Curry. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Harvey Litton, Arvis and Hilie Curry, William and Sue Coster, James and Irene Moon. Kaylee was a graduate of Rome High School where she excelled in softball. She was a registered behavioral therapist for Academy ABA where she counseled and administered ABA therapy. Kaylee also had her own business, Fresh Focus LLC, where her attention to detail translated into her providing excellent cleaning services. She was a spitfire who always kept people laughing, no matter what kind of mood you were in. Kaylee loved life, kids, and loved helping others. She embraced the underdogs and always supported those who were left out. Kaylee’s goal in life was to shine the light of Jesus Christ by loving and helping anyone she could. She was a faithful member of Life Church Rome, GA.
Survivors include her parents, Crystal and Wes Curry, Rome; her sister, Hiley Curry; her best friend, Mailey Davis; her maternal grandparents, Tim Moon (Becky) and Brenda Vernon Hill; paternal grandparents, Alan and Dreama Curry; maternal great-grandmother, Doris Litton; 2 aunts, Amanda Moon and Ashley Carden (Adrien); 2 uncles, Aaron Curry (Tiffani), and Russ Curry; numerous cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Monday, November 6, 2023, in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with the Rev. Jason Stockton and the Rev. Gary Diggs officiating. Interment will follow in Rome Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 12pm until service time at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel.
Pallbearers are to assemble by 1:30pm on Monday at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, and include: Alan Curry, Tim Moon, Aaron Curry, Russ Curry, Dustin Moon, Adrien Carden, Steve Litton and Brandon Litton.
