On Wednesday November 8, 2023 Floyd County deputies initiated an investigation on a nurse coming in for her shift due to the odor of marijuana coming from her person.
Latoya Cloud, 35 of Rome, was a nurse with the jail’s contracted medical department, Genesys Health Alliance.
During the investigation, a firearm was found in her property.
