Hospitality House for Women’s Annual Fundraiser and Awareness Event is BACK at noon on October 20, 2023 at the Rotary Plaza. Registration and free t-shirt pickup begins at 11, while supplies last.
As part of our mission to advocate, support, and empower survivors of domestic violence, Hospitality House for Women places great mphasis on awareness and prevention. Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is our annual event which takes place during Domestic Violence Awareness Month
each October. At Walk a Mile, we invite community members to walk down Broad Street in women’s shoes, shedding light on the fact that you can never understand a person’s situation until you’ve walked in their shoes. Come join forces as a community against domestic violence;
it is not just a “women’s issue,” it’s a human issue!
