Mr. Ronnie Derrick Bagwell, age 66, of Rome

 Mr. Ronnie Derrick Bagwell, age 66, of Rome, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at his residence.

                Mr. Bagwell was born in Rome, Georgia on May 14, 1957, son of the late Ralph Bagwell and the late Freida Swalwell Bagwell.  He worked as a welder for Rome Machine & Foundry.  Mr. Bagwell was a member of Sherwood Forest Baptist Church.  He thoroughly enjoyed cars, music, and sports, especially golf and softball.

                Survivors include his wife, Lizette Kathryn Nelson Bagwell; a son, Ryan Bagwell; a brother, Keith Bagwell; two sisters, Vickie Williams and Pam Locklear; nieces and nephews.

                In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Bagwell will be cremated.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 6pm at Sherwood Forest Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Hayes officiating.

                The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 4pm until the service time.
